In November 2014, offered a workshop on academic blogging to group of Master's students who graduated from the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) of Erasmus University Rotterdam in December. Blog article

March 2024

A group of development research communications professionals who form part of the EADI RComms Working Group recently got together in Bonn, where we had engaging discussions about what's happened in the field in the past few years, where we stand, and how we can plan for the time to come. The discussion on recent developments in social media and how these affect our practice are captured in a blog article I wrote for EADi's blog

A journal article titled 'A review of the (potential) implications of climate change for policing practice worldwide,' published in Policing: A Journal of Policy and Practice, is the outcome of a prospecting research project I assisted in carrying out for Anna Matczak and Sylvia I. Bergh of The Hague University of Applied Sciences (De Haagse Hogeschool). My tasks as research assistant for the project included research on the links between climate change and policing practice, co-organising two workshops with relevant stakeholders, and producing communications materials supporting these.
